Project: Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Book and Gala

Role: Strategic Advisor, Art Director, and Designer to Principal
Pam supports a number of charities in a variety of ways, but Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is nearest and dearest to her heart. The opportunity to incorporate a pop-up for the lemonade stand in this invitation was a dream come true. Add on a little thermography for the lemon “peel” on the cover and you have some great print techniques utilized in a way that underscores the name & activities of the Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Working closely with 8-year-old Alexandra Scott — who was a discerning editor — Pam illustrated and designed this book very quickly one Spring in anticipation of Alex’s upcoming lemonade stand. Using rhymes and bright, whimsical pictures, Alex and the Amazing Lemonade Stand shows how the small act of one person can have an impact on many people. Pam is proud to be Alex’s aunt and grateful for a meaningful destination for her drawings of citrus fruit!
